CHACHAPOYAS GOCTA LODGE

3 Days / 2 Nights

DAY 1: KUELAP AND CABLE CAR

Reception at the airport or terminal.

10:30 am, transport from the town of Chachapoyas to the village of Tingo where you will reserve your lunches in advance and then proceed to board the cable cars, enjoying the landscapes along the way. You will hike for around 30 minutes to reach the archaeological complex of Kuelap, and after the tour of the site, return to Tingo for lunch. Upon concluding lunch you will be driven back to Chachapoyas.

5:30 pm. (approximately), arrival to Chachapoyas and then transport to Gocta Lodge in the village of Cocachimba.

DAY 2: FREE DAY IN GOCTA LODGE

A free day to do as you please at the hotel.
(Overnight in Gocta Lodge.)

DAY 3: WATERFALL OF GOCTA

Before leaving the village of Cocachimba you will reserve your lunches in advance at a local restaurant and obtain your entrance fees. Then you wìll hike (or horseback ride, as horses are also available for renting) for 2 hours to reach the base of the waterfall of Gocta. There you will have plenty of time for photography while the guide will relate the local legends.

Afterwards, a hike back to the village to enjoy the delicious lunch you reserved and upon finishing eating, transport to the airport in Chachapoyas at a prudent hour.
