Point of departure: Pick up at your hotel in Chachapoyas.
Am: We begin the tour with transportation to the village of San Bartolo (a 2 hour drive approximately). Then from San Bartolo you will embark on a half hour hike to the cliff tombs of Revash, which held the funerary remains of the elites of the Chachapoyas culture. There you will have plenty of time for viewing the site, photography, and the guide’s explanation.
Afterwards returning to San Bartolo in order to proceed to the village of Leymebamba where you will have lunch.
After lunch in Leymebamba you will visit its famous museum which houses and stores over 200 mummies and 2,000 artifacts ( including quipus and musical instruments) most of which are from the cliff tombs of Laguna de los Condores. You will have around 2 hours to see the entire museum and then afterwards you will return to Chachapoyas.

Recommendations:
- Use comfortable hiking shoes.
- Bring insect repellent, sunblock, sunglasses, hat, and waterproof clothing and/or other types of waterproof coverings.
- Bring cash. In Chachapoyas there are only the banks of BCP (Banco del Credito de Peru) and BN (Banco de Nacion).
- Bring any required personal medication.
