Am o pm: We begin our tour with a visit to the village of Huancas, principally known for its traditional methods of pottery, which was declared a cultural patrimony of the nation in 2012. You will also get to see its plaza de armas as well as the lookout tower of the Canyon of Sonche, being able to witness the splendour of the canyon’s depth of 800 meters that descends down to the Utcubamba and Sonche rivers. The perfect place to breathe fresh air and to photograph majestic landscapes.
Afterwards a return to Chachapoyas to visit its principal viewing point at the heights of the city, Luya Urco, to see an impressive panorama of the whole city as well as a visit to the legendary well of Yanayacu.
